The Women in the Outdoors organization is sponsoring an event April 17 in Orlando at the Bass Pro shop. You can choose 3 classes between self defense, archery, Florida living history ( you learn to crack a whip, throw a tomahawk and start a fire with flint); air rifle gun cleaning,intro to GPS (geocaching); fishing and making a tote bag out of duct tape. Part of the event is held inside in their banquet room and part outside. You will receive a coupon for 15% off all purchases. Your paid registration fee of $45.00 includes: Choice of (3) courses, use of all equipment, 1 year membership, program material, instruction, lunch, one-year subscription to the Turkey Country Magazine.
